May 2010: Dr. Gladstone in Angola
Dr Gladstone just returned from a second mission trip to Angola. There he works at the CEML hospitals in Lubango (www.ceml.net). He provides cardiology services there, including consultation, pacemaker management and echo studies. Six children have been identified with congenital heart disease who will be brought to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (www.herbiefund.com) or to Israel (www.saveachildsheart.ca) for heart surgery. Two had successful heart surgery in Toronto last year.
